Suzy D. Hernandez, M.S.

President/Director of Training

My Florida Training and Testing Center, LLC, was founded by Suzy D. Hernandez , a Certified Law Enforcement Officer  and a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Sheppard Broad Law Center where she received her graduate degree in Health Law. Also a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminology.

Suzy retired with the State of Florida in March 2010, after serving over seventeen years with the State of Florida in a variety of regulatory positions with the latest position being a Medical Malpractice Investigator with the Florida Department of Health, Investigative Services Unit in Broward County. Suzy as served as a Child Protective Investigator with the Florida Department of Children and Families Investigative Unit, a Driver's License Examiner and Training Lead with the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles and a Duty Officer with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation commission. Prior to retiring, Suzy was recognized and awarded Top Producer in December 2009, for investigating cases involving Wrong Site Surgery, Unlicensed Medical Activity, Practicing Outside the Scope, Pain Clinics, Over-prescribing, Elderly Abuse, Sexual Misconduct and Fraud.

Suzy also served as a full time Deputy Sheriff with Osceola County, Reserve Deputy with Washington County Sheriff's Office  and spent eight years as a Reserve Police Officer with Panama City Beach Police Department. Suzy has extensive training and experience in criminal and civil investigations, fraud detection, public safety telecommunications and driver/ traffic education. Suzy's dedication and desire to serve the public and educate all driver's on traffic safety and responsibility, enforces the Center's mission, to provide quality training with qualified instructors and excellent customer service.

Jerome Fleeman, M.S.

EMS/ASHI Training Director

Jerome Fleeman is the Training Director over My Florida Training and Testing Center's ASHI/Emergency Medical Services Program. He is  also an ASHI First Responder instructor for MFTTC.  He has been an EMT/Firefighter for Panama City Fire Department since 2005; he was named Firefighter of the Year in 2009.  In addition to his career in public safety, he is also an instructor with the Advanced Science Diving Program at Florida State University (FSU)  in Panama City and has been employed at FSU since 2000.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from FSU in Social Science and his Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University where he studied Fire & Emergency Service Management.  Jerome’s professional experience with FSU includes training public safety divers from a number of local, state, and federal agencies as well as working with NOAA and NASA at the Aquarius undersea habitat.
